The compositions of The Klangstrukturen Chamber Orchestra draw on contemporary classical, jazz and folk idioms to create acoustic instrumental music that cuts across musical genres and boundaries. The first album ‘Music from a Drowning World’ was recently binned as more recent compositions moved in a new direction. An as yet untitled album is currently being finished in the studio. The arrangements have coalesced around a core of piano, soprano sax, bass clarinet, cello and some some tuned and non tuned percussion. A separate website is under construction that over time will also have some arbitrary posts on the process of making the album, its life and that of the orchestra.
